2026 Programs

Washington County Art Alliance is offering four major programs in 2026

  • The Washington County Open Studios Tour
  • Popup Collective at the Patricia Reser Center for the Performing Arts
  • Summer Art Showcase
  • Mentorship Program

Registration Timeline

On 3/30/2026 registration will open for all four programs. Note that the first registration phase in the mentorship program is for mentors. The mentorships will not be announced until May.

Registration will close on 4/12/2026 for the Open Studios, Summer Art Showcase and Reser Popup

Registration for mentors will close on 4/19/2026.

2026 Open Studios Tour

For one weekend only October 17th – 18th. Fifty artists will open their studios and demonstrate their work. This is the fifteenth year of the Washington County Open Studios Tour and the number of visitors grows each year. Learn more about how to be of those artists.

Popup Collective at the Patricia Reser Center for the Performing Arts

An opportunity for artists to participate in the 2026 Open Studios Tour even if they do not have a studio that they can show from. Ten artists will be showcasing their work on October 17th – 18th at the Patricia Reser Center. More information coming soon.

Summer Art Showcase

The Brookwood and Shute libraries will be displaying artwork from more than 50 artists for the months of July and August. More information coming soon.

Mentorship

The Washington County Art Alliance’s Mentorship Program is an opportunity for a WCAA member to donate their time and expertise to educate a student artist about their art form.

Our mentorship program is a 1:1 teaching and learning experience, although a mentor may decide to take more than 1 mentee.

The experience will include at least 9 hours of instruction time. The end result will be at least one piece of completed art work by the mentee.
