Artist’s Statement: Influenced by my Grandfather a graphic artist and carpenter and my mother a successful painter. I spent my childhood alongside my mother at local art fairs. With a BFA in printmaking and time working at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art a began working in large format deep colors with heavy textured media. Developing what was to become the BartArt style of art.
