Media: Clay
Artist’s Statement: I have been a creator all of my life, and clay was my first love. Majoring in sculpture in college, I later built a career as a video journalist and filmmaker before returning to clay full-time. Focusing on hand-building, I draw inspiration from my surroundings and human nature, looking for the magic in the everyday and bringing it to life with expression, color and surface illustration in my figurative and functional ceramics.
