Artist’s Statement: I am a self-taught artist, a mother of three and married to my best friend….my life is rich with love… a sentiment I strive to weave into my work. Through water-colors, I capture the beauty, light and emotion of the world around me. My paintings are not merely landscapes but invitation to pause, breathe and experience the serenity of nature. I am drawn to the transparency, luminosity and delightful unpredictability of the water- color medium. Over the years, I have learned the importance of planning before painting, working in layers and knowing when to stop. I always use high grade paper and quality paints as these are game changers.
