Artist’s Statement: This large, light-filled studio is a center of creativity and natural history. It is filled with shells, rocks, feathers, insect and botanic specimens, and of course the colorful paintings and collages of JoAnn as well as carefully curated collections of arts and crafts of other artisans. During Open Studio weekend Marie-Hélène Rake also shares her beautiful rustic elegance jewelry. The setting is a lovely National Wildlife Federation certified habitat full of flowers, shrubs, trees, and sitting areas where visitors are welcome to rest and enjoy a beverage and treat after their visit.

Directions: Hwy 26 West to Banks Rd. exit (next exit after Hwy. 6 Banks/Tillamook exit). South to Main St (Hwy. 47). Straight ahead (road changes name to Cedar Canyon) to Hartwick and turn right uphill to Satellite Dr., turn right, and then right again onto Tranquility Dr. Last house on right.
