Media: Fiber
Artist’s Statement: I’m a self taught artist creating fiber tapestries that echo painting-bold from afar, richly textured up close. I shape form through free motion thread painting and add hand painting for fine details like skin and hair. Contrasts and unexpected fabrics shift perception, and add to the complexity of each piece. Inspired by human connection, landscapes, and animals, my work has appeared in juried exhibitions in Oregon, Virginia, Wisconsin, Kentucky and California. “Mah Lindy Lou” was featured in the Winter 2026 issue of Fiber Art Now. Guided by curiosity, I continue expanding fiber art’s possibilities and inviting viewers to see everyday life with fresh attention.
