Washington County Art Alliance invites you to visit the 2025 Summer Art Showcase, an exhibit of over 100 pieces of artwork now showing at the Brookwood Library and the Shute Park Library in Hillsboro. All of the works are by local artists and there are over 50 different artists represented. The exhibit will be up until the end of August with a reception at the Brookwood Library on August 7th, from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.
Whatever your taste in art you will find it represented at these two locations. The Shute Park Library display contains mostly three dimensional works such as pottery and jewelry as well as some two dimensional work. A large part of the Shute Park Library exhibit is dedicated to the emerging artists that have participated in the WCAA’s mentorship program. The Brookwood Library has a large number of two dimensional works in the long hallway on the second floor as well as some three dimensional works. Visit both locations for the complete experience.
Most pieces of artwork are for sale and 100% of the sale price goes directly to the artists. This is a great way to support local artists by purchasing a beautiful item for your home.
The Summer Art Showcase is presented by Washington County Art Alliance and the City of Hillsboro.
