Artist’s Statement: Valley Art in Forest Grove is a 50+ years nonprofit gallery. The volunteer-run organization was founded by 12 artists, and there are now over 100 established and emerging local artists, over 365 members, and nearly 50 active volunteers. Our board members are working members, and offer a wide range of experiences and knowledge.Featured artist shows every two months allow Pacific Northwest artists to show their work, and benefit from free publicity and sales.We offer classes for all ages in pottery, painting, mixed media, drawing, and bookmaking – truly something for everyone.Our 35th Annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival will be held the third Saturday in September.VAA’s mission is to be a bridge between artists and the community.

Directions: On Hwy 26, take Banks exit. Turn left onto Hwy 47 and drive to Pacific Ave. Turn right and follow signs to the gallery. Another right on Main, and Valley Art is the middle of the block on your left. From the south, take Hwy 47 to Forest Grove. At Pacific Ave. turn left and head west to 2022 Main St.
